Other local structural members got affected due to blast.
All affected structural members got evaluated systematically to determine extent of damage and repair strategies. A holistic repair & retrofitting approach implemented. Carried out various tests like, visual inspection, rebound hammer test, UPV test and concrete core test. Following of the methodology adopted jointly with expert structural consultant.

Beam strengthening using steel plate connections at soffits
Design for the additional cross section of columns and Column- Beam junction detailing
CFRP wrapping system for composite action and enhancement of load carrying capacity by confinement
Safety and structural integrity of the blast affected building established.
Blast affected structure regained it’s functionality.
Frequent inspection and monitoring of structure post restoration proved success of methodology adopted.
